Crane Rental

Description

At Quick Pick, crane rental and service is our specialty. It's how we started and what has fueled our successful growth. We started with one boom truck and have expanded our fleet to include:

  • Multiple Boom Trucks
  • All-Terrain Hydraulic Cranes
  • Rough Terrain Cranes
  • Tower Cranes

Having a wide variety of cranes, different sizes and different types, allows us to provide our customers with the correct equipment for their projects.

Our operators are experienced Local 478 Union operators. All of our cranes are well maintained and fully insured and we have the capability to provide crane rental services throughout Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

When deciding which crane is the right one for your job there are 2 important factors we take into account:

  • Safety
  • Cost Efficiency

We make sure that the crane we send you has enough capacity for your pick according to the manufacturer's load chart. If it doesn't, we send you a bigger crane or we don't do the job. Safety is never compromised.

On the other hand we will never send you (or at least charge you for) a crane too big for your job. Crane service is a big expense, and we are not interested in over charging our customers. Cost efficiency is a major factor in determining the crane for your job.

Sometimes a bigger crane might be sent to your site (so long as its dimensions and weight are not a problem) to get your job done. But you will only be charged the rate of the crane needed to do your particular job. That's our policy; with Quick Pick you pay for what you need.

If you understand how to correctly measure for a crane, our office will help you determine the size of the crane needed to safely and efficiently complete the job. If you're not sure how to measure for a crane or might have a particularly tricky scenario, our expert estimators will come to your site to assist you.

Questions

Frequently asked

What's the difference between manned and bare crane rental?

Manned rental includes a licensed Local 478 union operator and full insurance at an all-inclusive rate — the most common choice. Bare rental means you provide your own certified operator, fuel, and insurance; we offer it on rough terrain, tower, and crawler cranes.

What types of cranes can I rent from A Quick Pick?

Our fleet runs from 17-ton boom trucks up to a 400-ton all-terrain crane, and includes boom trucks, hydraulic truck cranes, all-terrain, rough terrain, tower, and crawler cranes — so we can match the right machine to your job.

Will I be charged more if you send a larger crane?

No. Sometimes we send a larger crane to complete your job safely, but you're only charged the rate for the crane your job actually requires. With Quick Pick you pay for what you need.

How do you make sure the crane is safe for my pick?

We confirm the crane has enough capacity for your pick against the manufacturer's load chart. If it doesn't, we send a bigger crane or we don't do the job — safety is never compromised.
