Below are pictures from Friday, April, 19, 2013 when Quick Pick took delivery of a brand new Grove TMS800E, an 80 ton mobile hydraulic truck crane. This will be the first out of 2 major equipment upgrades this year. A brand new 90 ton Link Belt crane will be arriving next month. The new 80 ton machine will be replacing a 1996 Grove TMS870, a 70 ton crane.
The Grove TMS800E features 128’ of main power boom and a 56’ offsetable jib for a maximum tip height of 190’. Compared to 110’ of main, 56’ jib, and 175’ of tip height on the machine it is replacing.
Shawmut Equipment of Manchester, CT delivered the crane at approximately 8:30 AM on Friday, April 19, 2013. Shawmut spent a majority of the day training Quick Pick employees how to operate the machine.
