Below are pictures from Wednesday, May, 29, 2013. Just a few days before, Quick Pick took delivery of a brand new Link Belt HTC-8690, an 90 ton mobile hydraulic truck crane. It was the second major equipment upgrades this year. The first was an 80 Ton Grove TMS800e. The new 90 ton machine will be replacing a Link Belt HTC-8670, a 70 ton crane.
The Link Belt HTC-8690 has 140’ of main boom and a total of 208’ of tip height with the jib erected. Compared to 127’ of main, and 200’ of tip height on the machine it is replacing.
Wood’s CRW out of North Oxford, MA delivered the crane and provided training for a number of quick pick operators.
